Poste de lectrice/lectuer INSA Hauts de France , Valenciennes – 2024-25

English-language Lecteur/Lectrice position available
Academic year 2024-2025

  • The post involves teaching engineering students at the INSA Hauts-de-France which is part of the Université Polytechnique des Hauts-de-France.
  • 200 hours class time per year as a minimum ( plus paid overtime )
  • Gross salary: €1819 per month

We are looking for an English native speaker:

  • who has completed a 4-year university course
  • who will work closely with permanent teaching staff
  • who is able to draw up lesson plans independently and grade students
  • who is dynamic, organised, creative and motivated
  • who is comfortable with working paid overtime
  • Previous teaching experience essential, preferably to higher education students

Contract starts 1st September 2024 and ends on 31st August 2025.

Classes run from September – June

The lecteur/lectrice will:

  • Teach professional business English to full-time engineering students (Bac + 1 to Bac +5)
  • Prepare students for the TOEIC certification

Please note that if you have already occupied a lecteur/lectrice position in France, you are not eligible to apply for this position.
