*Lecteur post in Dijon *
Université de Bourgogne (Dijon, France) is seeking an English-language lecteur/lectrice for the coming academic year . Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and be proficient in French.
The post involves teaching at the IUT (Institut Universitaire de Technologie), which is part of the University of Burgundy. It involves 300 hours of teaching spread over different departments: Business Administration, Biology, Communication and Computer Science for instance. Prior knowledge of the specialist subject-areas is not required. However, the successful applicant will be expected to take an interest in the relevant topics. He or she must also be autonomous.
The contract will start on 1 September 2022 and end on 31 August 2023. Classes begin early in September and finish in June. The monthly net salary is 1,215 euros (1,486 euros gross). This is a full-time position involving preparation and marking. Lecteurs are not allowed to have any other form of employment.
