Poste de lecteur·rice à l’Université Bourgogne Europe, 2026-2027

We are looking for applicants for a lecteur/lectrice position at the Dijon campus of the Université Bourgogne Europe, France.
The job title is “lecteur de langue”, and consists in teaching oral English classes at both the Faculty of Science and Technology, and Polytech Dijon, an engineering school. Students are undergraduates specializing in science and technology. Applicants must be native English speakers, hold a 4-year university diploma. Some knowledge/interest in science is a plus, but not a requirement. An intermediate level of French is preferable.
The contract is for 12 months (01 Sept 2026 to 31 August 2027), and may be renewable for the following year. The net salary is around 1450 euros per month, for 200 annual teaching hours, and a possible 100-hour and salary extension. There is no allowance for travel costs. The workload varies from week to week and at Polytech Dijon the year spans September to June. There are numerous opportunities to supplement income with overtime teaching hours and other part-time activities. It is also possible to enrol part-time on a university course.
