The University of Strasbourg’s Department of English Studies is recruiting an English Language Lecturer (lecteur/lectrice) for the 2026-2027 academic year, starting September 1, 2026. This 12-month fixed-term contract (renewable once) involves teaching written and oral English to both English specialists (LLCER students) and students in other disciplines (LANSAD).
Applicants must be native English speakers who hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (BA) and possess a strong knowledge of the literature, history, and arts of English-speaking countries. Proficiency in digital tools such as Moodle and the Office suite is also required. Intermediate proficiency in French (A2/B1) is desirable.
The position offers a monthly salary of €1,819.00 gross.
